Gotham Hoops Announces TBT Roster

The Basketball Tournament will announce this year’s participants during their Selection Show on June 21st. Gotham Hoops is among the 100+ teams vying for a spot in the prestigious $1M tournament.

Founder Ray Anczelowicz (GM/Head Coach) is excited to announce this year’s roster:

  • Abdulai Bundu

    • Bundu played all four years at Quinnipiac University. In his senior year, he averaged 5.5 points and 5.6 rebounds. Bundu recently played for Kordell Steels in Luxembourg.

  • Anthony Durham

    • Durham attended Rider University, which he had career averages of 5.5 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists. Today, he currently plays at the international level for CSM Targu Jiu and is currently averaging 14 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.

  • Anthony Libroia

    • Libroia played at Adelphi and currently plays over in Spain, averaging 11 points and 6 assists per game.

  • Bashir Ahmed

    • Ahmed played at St. John’s for two years from 2016-18. During those years, he posted a career average of 12.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per game, while shooting 35% from behind the arc. After college, he went overseas and played in France, Croatia, Bosnia, and Hungary. This past season, he played for Golden eagle Ylli in Kosovo, where he averaged 14.3 PPG.

  • Deondre Bourne

    • The Brooklyn, New York native played college ball at Thomas Jefferson University from 2018-22. He averaged 18.6 PPG his senior season, and was named to the All-CACC First Team.

  • Dimencio Vaughn

    • The New York, New York native played college ball at Rider from 2016-20 before transferring to Ole Miss for one season and returning to Rider for the 2021-22 season. During his Rider career he was a 2x First Team All-MAAC nominee and is their all-time leader in steals. Vaughn played in Puerto Rico for Fajardo Cariduros this past season.

  • Jamil Hood

    • Hood played collegiate basketball at Long Island before transferring to Bryant & Stratton-Albany. Today, the Albany, N.Y. native plays for his hometown Albany Patroons of the TBL. The team is currently in the East Regional Finals.

  • Julian Boyd

    • Boyd played collegiate basketball at Long Island, becoming the NEC player of the year and an AP Honorable Mention All-American in 2012. He played his first two professional basketball seasons with the London Lightning of Canada’s top league and then spent time in Israel, China, Finland, and Denmark. Boyd played the 2022-2023 season with Changhua in Taiwan, averaging 25.9 points and 13.6 rebounds per game.

  • Joshua Nurse

    • Nurse played collegiate basketball at St. Francis College (NY). He most recently played for Klosterneuburg in the Austrian BSL league.

  • Marquise Moore

    • Moore attended George Mason University, where he improved from year to year all four seasons culminating in a senior campaign where he averaged a double-double with 17 points per game.  Moore then spent three seasons in the NBA G-League with the Iowa Wolves, before playing overseas in Germany and most recently Portugal.

  • Pauly Paulicap

    • The collegiate journeyman played for Manhattan, DePaul and West Virginia before embarking on his professional career. The Elmont, N.Y. native spent his first professional overseas this past season in Cyprus.
