On Saturday, Russ Smith came off the bench to lead Louisville in scoring, leading the Cardinals past New Mexico in NCAA Tournament action.
The sophomore combo guard poured in 17 points in 23 minutes on the floor.
The former Archbishop Molloy and South Kent (CT) standout shot 3-3 from beyond the arc.
Smith also recorded two rebounds and three assists in the win.
Louisville will face the winner of Michigan State vs. Saint Louis in the Sweet 16.
