Rising seniors JJ Moore and Shane Southwell  have both narrowed their college list in the past week.

Moore, a 6’6″ wing player who’s stock grew as much as anyone’s this past summer is a great talent and can score from anywhere on the court.

Also at 6’6″, Southwell is a rare specimen. An extremely talented point guard will be a great addition to any college.

Newly added player at South Kent Prep (CT), Moore, decided to transfer away from his home-town and school, Brentwood high school to get away from the distractions New York had to provide.

Southwell is the leader for a y0ung Rice high school (Manhattan, New York) team who won the New York State championship a year ago, and is looking to do the same this upcoming season.

Moore, who I got an exclusive interview with several weeks ago about his recruitment situation is currently down to St. John’s, Pittsburgh, Louisville and Florida.

Kansas State, Providence and South Carolina are the final three schools Southwell is taking into consideration. “[I'll commit] probably as early as next week or no later then November,” says the Rice HS senior.
